Public Notice for Zoning Map Amendment Hearing:
A public hearing scheduled by the Village Council will be held at 7:00 PM on the 28th day of October 2024 in Council Chambers at the Village Government Building 79 West Main Street Harveysburg OH 45032.
The purpose of this hearing is to decide if the two main parcels where the Ohio Renaissance Festival takes place each year (parcels 10112000011 & 1005300002 consisting of approximately 105 acres) will become officially rezoned from ‘R-1’ back to ‘RE’ as requested. If this zoning change happens, the festival would be brought out of ‘nonconforming’ status making it more eligible to expand.
